We thought we knew Oregon like nobody’s business. Then we watched “Finding Oregon,” a video from Uncage the Soul Productions, and fell in love all over again. It’s a compilation of time-lapse photography from across the state, shot over the course of six months, culminating with a single 1,600-mile road trip in September 2011. The video captures the wild, lonely beauty of the Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, the southwestern coast, the Alvord Desert, Leslie Gulch, the Blue Mountains, Crater Lake, Eagle Cap Wilderness, the Deschutes River and more. “Finding Oregon” touches all four corners of the state and reminds us that the more you see of Oregon, the more there is to discover.
