Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off

Have you ever seen 300 pound pumpkin? How about 1,300 pounds? These GIANT pumpkins would hold Cinderella, Peter Pumpkin Eater and all of their relatives. Picture 80 colorful, GIANT pumpkins weighing 700-1400 pounds in a beautiful country setting near Portland, amidst a family-friendly fall festival.

The day-long event is conducted by the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers and it begins at 10AM when a GIANT pumpkin is dropped from the sky to crush an automobile. The GIANT pumpkin weigh-off follows, awarding thousands of dollars in prize money.
