Oregon's own Pink Martini returns to Britt in a performance honoring Oregon's 150th birthday. Pink Martini will perform an updated version of the musical, with an addition written by Pink Martini founder and pianist Thomas M. Lauderdale. Following intermission, they'll perform a set of their unique mix of sophisticated yet approachable music. Pink Martini draws from rhumba, neo-classical, Latin beats and more, and Lauderdale describes their music as, "bringing melodies and rhythms from different parts of the world together to create something which is modern."
