National Astronomy Day; May 10th. ScienceWorks will feature our special Outreach to Space exhibition, two live Star Shows in our planetarium at 11am and 2pm, and hands-on crafts, such as paper rockets. $7.50 for Adults, $5.00 for children
The fun continues into the night when the Southern Oregon Skywatchers present "An Introduction to Astronomy". This night time event is Free. At 7:30 pm join us for "A Guide to the Night Sky" and "How to Use a Telescope" in our SciTheater. At 8:30, take what you've learned outside for a hands-on Star Party. This special event is to launch the Ashland Fiber Network Telescope Lending Program at ScienceWorks, where members can borrow a telescope for one month free of charge!
