Nestled away in the farmland around Goose Lake, Goose Lake State Recreation area gives you a place to enjoy the cool shady green grass and access to Goose lake for boating or wildlife viewing.
The Goose Lake area is home to many species of birds and other wildlife including a large herd of mule deer which spend much of the time in the 48-site campground.
Goose Lake provides a great boating area and the wildlife watching is spectacular. The park provides hot showers, grassy areas suitable for tents, paved sites, shade trees, fireplaces, electrical hookups, telephone and a dump station. A kiosk and brochures available at the campground provide information about things to see and do in the area. In addition, the park offers a boat ramp and an RV dump station.
Vital Stats: Open April - October. 48 electrical campsites (maximum site 50 feet).
This lakeside park offers opportunities for boating, fishing, camping, picnicking, bird-watching, and wildlife watching.
