Following extensive research in France and a hunt through Southern Oregon, we found the singular combination of climate, soils, and slopes needed to grow Bordeaux grapes of classic quality and character. On this hillside we planted Grand Cru French clones selected for their unequalled ability to produce wines of exceptional complexity.On harvest, grapes are gently tended through small batch “open” fermentation, aged using a combination of French Oak and American Oak barrels, and finally blended for a unique expression of land, grapes, and winemaking technique.Because Cricket Hill Estate is small, we only produce an extremely limited ultra-premium wine.
