A hidden gem, this interpretive center welcomes visitors wanting to learn more about the natural and cultural history and resources in the region. Open weekends, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays, Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, 10:00 to 5:00. The center features hands-on, interactive displays, area brochures featuring local attractions, and is staffed by a Bureau of Land Management naturalist. It is a partnership between the US Army Corps. of Engineers and the BLM.
