Limbs fight their way to a transient mark. Bodies engage as they arrive and leave simultaneously. A solo figure chases after a fleeting finale. Far off figures press against you. Convergence, a new KO&Co. evening-length dance, takes on the consistency of change, the course of decision, the state of obstacle, the change of plan, defining of an endpoint, and more; all to breakdown and reshape what it means to get from point A to point B.

Two long mirroring corridors separated solely by a row of audience seating ground the dancers as they defines where here and there converge. KO&Co. revels in investigating the impact of space, perspective as shaped point-of-view, and the weaving of improvisational and choreographic forms.

Convergence develops these themes as they explore the relationship between moving away and moving towards, the expectations of arriving and departing, and the hues of in-between spaces. KO&Co. is led by Katrina O’Brien and includes dancers Patricia Germann, Chane Gilbert, Jessica Hightower, Esther LaPointe and Shannon Parsons.
