The Oregon Historical Society, founded in 1898 is Oregon's premiere history museum. The Museum houses the spectacular permanent exhibit on the History of Oregon: 'Oregon My Oregon', mounts major exhibits from the Oregon Historical Society collections and presents major traveling exhibitions on a variety of themes.
