Whale watching takes place almost year-round on the Oregon Coast. Oregon's Whale Watching Spoken Here program focuses on the peak times for gray whales migrating past our coastline, which happen during winter and spring breaks. Many so called resident gray whales also spend months near the Oregon Coast, especially in summer and fall!
Be sure to stop by the Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay during the Whale Watch Weeks. They're are open daily during the watch weeks; May 1 - Sept. 30, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily, ; and Oct. 1 - April 30, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Wednesday - Sunday
