Devils Lake State Recreation Area

With downtown Lincoln City mere minutes away, you can glide quietly by canoe or kayak on the lake while you watch for coots, loons, ducks, cormorants, bald eagles and grebes. As the only Oregon coast campground located in the midst of a city, the lake is a center of summertime activity. The park is nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the 678-acre Devil's Lake.

You'll find the campground on the west shore, and the East Devil's Lake day-use area just down the road. The park features boat moorage slips and a fishing dock. The park features ten yurts. Yurts are domed tents with structural support, a plywood floor, lockable wooden door, lights, heating, and beds with mattresses.

Vital stats: The park offers 32 full hookup campsites and 55 tent sites(maximum site 62 feet); 10 yurts; hiker-biker camp. Boaters, waterskiers, swimmers and personal watercraft users share the water. Kayak tours of the lake are scheduled in the summer (the park provides the kayak). In addition the park offers camping, picnicking and hiking, biking, yurt stays, nature programs and outstanding waterfowl viewing.
