Founded in 1962, the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria is one of the first maritime museums in the west. After undergoing a remodel and expansion a few years ago, today's impressive space houses a huge collection of artifacts and interactive exhibits. Kids and adults can experience what it's like to pilot a tugboat, and to participate in a Coast Guard rescue.
