Five days of fast paced, exciting entertainment for the whole family begins on July 23rd and continues through July 27th, 2008. The fun starts in Joseph - part of Wallowa County in the Northeast corner of Oregon.
Chief Joseph Days has been voted one of the top small outdoor rodeos nationally, and it attracts major contenders to all of it's rodeo events, as well as top stock contractors, bullfighters, clowns, specialty acts, and has a total purse of more than $75,000.
The skeleton of the first Chief Joseph Days arena still stands on the East Moraine of Wallowa Lake. The rodeo grew from its modest beginnings to one of the largest community rodeos and festivals of the northwest. The rodeo is now held at the Harley Tucker Memorial Arena in Joseph.
