Eastern Oregon Upcoming Events
Spring and summer is the season for rodeos and bull-riding competitions. Include some of the traditional Western-style excitement in your vacation plans. Beginning with the Big Loop Rodeo in Jordan Valley in May and finishing with the famous Pendleton Round-Up in September, the action is nonstop. This region hosts a number of great events. The 26th Annual Wallowa Valley Festival of Arts (June 6-8) features art shows, music and gallery strolling against the backdrop of the Wallowa Mountains. Ontario hosts America's Global Village (June 6), a festival of authentic African, Basque, Dutch, German, Japanese, Mexican, Native American, Pioneer and Scottish cultural villages. And Condon showcases vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles at the Condon Cruise into History (August 23).
