1. Chief Joseph Days

Spend a weekend in Wallowa County, and discover the traditions of local tribes while enjoying a rodeo at the same time! This event will include dancing, a golf tournament, Friendship Feast, a parade, and of course rodeo activities!

2. KCTC 10th Annual Alumni Pow Wow

The Klamath County Treatment Center's Alumni Pow wow will include lunch on Saturday and brunch on Sunday, a raffle, dancing, drummers and more.

3. Klamath Tribes 22nd Annual Restoration Celebration

Held each year on the fourth weekend in August, this annual event marks the anniversary of the Restoration of the Klamath Tribes (including the Klamath, Modoc and Yahooskin Bands of the Snake Indians). Join in on the Pow Wow, Fun Run/Walk, Parade, Youth Rodeo (takes place at the Fairgrounds in Chiloquin), softball tournament, arts & crafts, great food and tons of exciting drumming and dancing!

4. Pi Ume Sha Treaty Days Pow Wow

Pi-Ume-Sha ( meaning “Let’s celebrate"), is held annually in late June and features a weekend of drumming, dancing, storytelling, arts & crafts, food and stick games in Warm Springs, about 60 miles north of Bend. Festivities include the annual Fry Bread Gold Tournament and the All Indian Rodeo. Kah-nee-ta Resort offers lodging including RV park, teepees and Village rooms, plus mineral soaking in the hot springs. Where: Warm Springs Reservation, Warm Springs OR.

5. Tamkaliks Celebration

For three whole days, celebrate local Native American Culture at the Tamkaliks Celebration in the Wallowa Valley. With traditional song and dance, delicious food, Native American crafts, pow wow and teepees, there's something every age group will love. And don't forget to participate in the Friendship Feast- complete with local salmon, elk and deer meat.
