A Weekend in Sisters
This Central Oregon town (25 miles northwest of Bend) was named for the Three Sisters mountains to the west. Downtown Sisters is charming with its 1880s “western” building facades, cafés and shops, and there’s plenty in the way of outdoors recreation and relaxation in these parts.

Day One
How about a round of golf? There are 25 public courses to choose from in Central Oregon. Make a tee time in Sisters at Aspen Lakes Golf Course, where you’ll play among tall stands of Ponderosa pine trees, lakes and streams, and views of the Three Sisters mountains. Just steer clear of the volcanic red sand bunkers!

Start your day with an early morning hike along one of the many area trails. The Metolius River in Camp Sherman offers an easy-level, scenic hike, and Black Butte Lookout offers unparalleled views of the entire Sisters area.
