McMenamins currently has 15 breweries in Oregon, each year collectively producing more than 200 different recipes. Since our first brew at Portlands Hillsdale Brewery and Public House in 1985, McMenamins has handcrafted more than 20,000 different batches of beer. In 2005 alone, we brewed over 41,000 kegs of beer- an astounding 5.1 million pints of Terminator, Sunflower IPA, Ruby Ale, Hammerhead and more! Inside John Barleycorns, you'll find a nice, dark, cozy space -- topped by a dramatic cathedral ceiling -- and McMenamins-strength ales and spirits. Outside, the terrace is surrounded by a peaceful garden.
