Ease into October with the French Prairie Garden Harvest Festival in St. Paul (Sept. 26- Oct. 31, 2009). Bring the family for a day of fun on the farm, including pig races, hayrides, a hay maze and pumpkin patch. On weekends from Oct. 17 to 30, head south to Muddy Creek Maze near Corvallis for the six-acre corn maze with pumpkin patch, straw fort, moo train, hay rides and corn boxes.
