The vineyard: Great wines are grown, not made. Our core business is farming superior winegrapes for premium, vineyard designated wines " wines selling over $50.We farm 31,000 vines on 16.5 acres; 12.5 acres of Pinot Noir (5 clones: 115, Wadenswil, Pommard, 667, 777); 3.2 acres of Dijon 96 clone Chardonnay; and, .8 acre of Pinot Gris. Our rocky terraces bear small yields of meticulously tended grapes. The winemaking: Low tech, hands-on, tiny batches. Sanely scientific. More by taste than numbers. Cliff and Allison use their experience and training to develop the wines. Total production is less than 1000 cases annually.
